It also refutes her attempt to protray Emma Goldman as some sort of lifestyle anarchist, showing how she and Parsons shared a similar communist anarchist perspective. Proudhon: Neither Washington nor Richmond
A discussion of Proudhon’s views during the American Civil War which indicates that the common assertion that he supported the South is inaccurate. Rather, he opposed both sides and argued for full political-economic rights for blacks as well as economic reforms to abolish the proletariat. Anarchy in the USA: The International Working People’s Association
This article originally appeared in Black Flag Anarchist Review Volume 3 Number 2 (Summer 2023). It discussed the politics of the Chicago Martyrs and shows its links with the ideas of revolutionary anarchism expounded by Bakunin and Kropotkin. It also debunks attempts to portray them as Marxists when, in reality, they were Marxists who moved to anarchism.
