Freedom was co-founded by Peter Kropotkin and Charlotte Wilson in 1886, with its first issue appearing in October of that year. It was Britain's longest lasting anarchist journal and published articles by such leading anarchists as Peter Kropotkin, Charlotte Wilson, Emma Goldman, Alexander Berkman Rudolf Rocker, Errico Malatesta, Voltarine de Cleyre, Max Nettlau, John Turner, Louisa Sarah Bevington, Warlaam Tcherkesoff, George Barrett, amongst others. It is source of still relevant ideas, which should be of interest to radicals seeking to change the world now.
This archive includes pdf scans of all the issues from October 1886, the first, to November-December 1927, the last. The scans have been taken from various sources and are of varying quality. For the few of poorer quality, they will be replaced once better quality scans are available.
